In this role, you'll support the daily rhythm of both properties while building genuine relationships with guests, team members, and local businesses. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and helping our hotel grow through thoughtful, community‑focused sales efforts. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Dual‑Brand Support — Help keep both Avid and Candlewood Suites running smoothly, ensuring each brand's unique standards shine through. Front Desk Leadership — Guide and support our Guest Service team, jump in during busy times, and help create a warm first impression for every guest. Guest Experience Care — Listen, respond, and resolve guest needs with empathy and professionalism to keep satisfaction high. Extended‑Stay Support — Assist long‑term guests with anything they need to feel comfortable and at home. Property Walk‑Throughs — Help ensure our hotel always looks its best by coordinating with housekeeping and checking public areas and guest rooms. Administrative Tasks — Support scheduling, inventory, ordering, and daily reporting with accuracy and care. Sales & Revenue Responsibilities Local Outreach — Build friendly, professional relationships with local businesses, medical offices, construction crews, and corporate partners. Account Care — Stay connected with existing clients to encourage repeat stays and long‑term partnerships. Extended‑Stay Sales — Seek out opportunities for long‑term stays, including relocations, project teams, and corporate housing. Property Tours — Show potential clients around the hotel, highlighting what makes both Avid and Candlewood Suites special. Community Involvement — Represent the hotel at local events and build positive connections within the community. Sales Tracking — Keep sales activity organized and support weekly revenue discussions. Qualifications Previous hotel experience required; dual‑brand or extended‑stay experience is a plus. A warm, approachable communication style with strong leadership skills. Sales experience in hospitality or a related field is helpful but not required. Ability to multitask and stay positive in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with IHG systems (PMS, Merlin, Concerto) is a bonus. Physical & Schedule Requirements Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs. Flexible availability, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
