Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving breakfast to hotel guests, maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary and guest relations skills within a welcoming hotel setting. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring food presentation is appealing and items are replenished promptly Serve guests with professionalism, answering questions about menu items and dietary options Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruits or assembling breakfast items when necessary Manage guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, providing excellent guest relations Collaborate with front desk and housekeeping to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction Skills Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is advantageous Strong customer service and communication skills Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with food preparation, buffet setup, or meal presentation preferred Excellent cleaning and organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively Basic culinary skills including knife handling, food plating, and meal assembly are a plus Familiarity with dietary accommodations and allergy awareness is beneficial This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service to contribute to a welcoming hotel environment while developing valuable skills in food service operations.
