Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join the Hampton Inn by Hilton at Stony Creek VA. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest relations and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to outstanding service. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software. Operate phone systems to respond to calls promptly and courteously. Assist with billing inquiries and ensure accurate charges are applied to guest accounts. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are reconciled accurately. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities. Experience Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Experience with Hilton and Choice systems preferred but not required. PEP / ChoiceAdvantage Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective guest relations. A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
