POSITION SUMMARY
Hotel Front Desk will be the first point of contact, handling guest check-in/ out, managing reservations. Processing payments, answering phones, assisting and satisfying guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greeting guests in an efficient and courteous manner. Checking guests in and out, assigning rooms and distributing room keys. Managing online, phone, walk-in bookings, and cancellations. Processing payment, handling cash, and verifying credit. Answering questions and providing information about services, check-in policies, rates and amenities. Coordinating and communicating with maintenance and management on repairs. Addressing and resolving guest's complaints or issues calmly and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum one (1) year of hotel front desk experience or customer service-related field. Skilled in cash handling, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks. Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office focusing on Excel and building data spreadsheets and summaries. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Strong communication skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a casino environment, which includes exposure to noise, flashing lights, crowds and secondhand smoke. Fast-paced environment requires constant attention to guest service and team coordination. Varying work schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays depending on operational needs. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeaner in compliance with the company policies and guest service standards.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
