Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel General Manager, where you will lead the overall operation of a vibrant hotel or resort. As the driving force behind the hotel's success, you will oversee staff, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Duties Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, optimize occupancy rates, and control costs through effective budgeting and revenue management techniques. Foster a welcoming environment by maintaining outstanding guest relations, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring memorable guest experiences. Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and professional team. Manage daily operations including night audits, front desk activities with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and guest services to ensure efficiency and high standards. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies while continuously improving service quality through innovative hospitality practices. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the property's amenities and services, attracting new guests while retaining loyal clientele. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities that facilitate communication with diverse guests and staff members from various backgrounds. Proven supervising experience within the hospitality management or hotel industry, demonstrating leadership in fast-paced settings. Strong expertise in hotel management principles including revenue management, guest relations, and hospitality operations. Exceptional customer service skills combined with a professional demeanor in handling guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems and face-to-face interactions. Sound knowledge of budgeting processes, human resources practices, and night audit procedures to ensure smooth financial operations. Leadership qualities that motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement across all departments. Familiarity with resort environments or large-scale hotels enhances your ability to manage complex operations effectively.
