Hotel General Manager

AmericInn by Wyndham - Mountain Lake, MN Opening Summer 2026! Are you a hospitality leader who loves the smell of a fresh build and the thrill of a grand opening? We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to launch the brand-new AmericInn in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. This isn't just about managing a building; it's about building a culture from the ground up. As our inaugural GM, you will lead the charge in hiring your "dream team," establishing gold-standard service, and becoming the face of the newest landmark in the community. As the General Manager, you are the heartbeat of the hotel. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will oversee everything from daily operations and financial forecasting to community relations and guest satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Interview, hire, and train a high-performing team to deliver the "AmericInn" experience. Manage budgets, review revenue reports, and implement savvy changes to maximize the bottom line. Conduct daily "white glove" inspections to maintain property condition and cleanliness standards. Represent Blue Sky Hospitality in Mountain Lake, building relationships with local businesses and organizations. You are a motivator who leads by example, remaining calm under pressure and exercising expert judgment. You have a strong background in Front Desk operations, reservations, and franchise standards. You're organized, computer-literate, and have a sharp eye for the small things that make a big difference to guests. You understand the "24/7" nature of hospitality and are ready to work a flexible schedule to ensure success. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to travel for brand conferences and corporate meetings.
