Job Description

Hotel General Manager (GM) - Must have previous HOTEL General Manager Experience_ Marriott Preferred You've built your career in hotels. You know operations, people, and performance inside and out. We're hiring a Hotel General Manager (GM) with deep hospitality roots (ideally current or former GM experience) who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and leads with confidence, presence, and accountability. This is not a turnaround role. This is a chance to lead a high-performing hotel operation and elevate it further knowing that staffing is your greatest challange. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on guest satisfaction and service excellence Drive revenue management, budgeting, and financial performance to maximize profitability Ensure exceptional guest experience, guest relations, and service recovery at all levels Maintain brand standards, operational consistency, and compliance with all policies and procedures Monitor KPIs, labor, and expenses while making real-time operational decisions Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture Partner with ownership and leadership on strategy, reporting, and long-term success Qualifications & Experience Strong hotel operations background required (this is not an entry-level role) Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Director of Operations required Proven leadership in hospitality management, hotel operations, and team development Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-demand hotel or resort environment Strong knowledge of front desk operations, housekeeping, and overall hotel systems Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience with branded hotels or independent properties welcomed Why This Role Stands Out Step into a stable, successful hotel—not a fixer-upper Lead a team that's already in place and performing Opportunity to make an immediate impact without rebuilding from scratch High visibility role with real influence on operations and results A culture that values strong leadership, accountability, and operational excellence What We're Really Looking For Someone who has grown up in hotels.
