About the Hotel The Country Inn Walker is a 46-room hotel nearing the completion of a full renovation, offering an exciting opportunity to step into a refreshed and repositioned property. The hotel features an indoor pool and spa and offers a mix of guest rooms and suites, making it a strong option for both leisure and business travelers visiting the area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys elevating operations and delivering a high-quality guest experience. Position Summary As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective performance while delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will lead your team, maintain high operational standards, and create a positive and safe environment for both employees and guests. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction Develop and manage budgets to meet or exceed financial goals Conduct regular inspections of the property, grounds, and FF&E Implement and uphold operational policies and procedures Recruit, train, and develop a strong team Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Manage inventory, reporting, and compliance requirements Execute marketing and sales initiatives within budget Partner with the District Manager on strategy and performance Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of hotel experience Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Basic math and financial skills

Preferred:
