Hotel House Attendant

Wage for this department ranges from $20-$23.00 per hour depending on position, skills, and longevity. House Attendant (sometimes called "Houseman" or "Housewoman"): Interdepartmental position assisting maintenance and housekeeping.

Typically includes:

light maintenance, stripping rooms running linen for housekeeping, turning mattresses and moving furniture and: assisting hotel guests. These employees are the "jack of all trades" at the hotel, able to fill in anywhere in the building needed by the housekeeping and maintenance departments.

Successful candidates will be:

hard working, physically fit to be able to do the essential tasks the job entails, self motivated with a positive outlook, enjoy working with other employees and hotel guests. Hotels are 24/7/365 businesses, so employees can expect to be asked to work shifts at all times of the day, including weekends and holidays.
