Hotel Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. Change linens and make beds according to hotel standards. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred, particularly within the hospitality industry. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and floor care methods is essential. Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. A background in housekeeping management is beneficial for those looking to advance their career in hospitality.
