Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by performing sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface cleaning. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Restock amenities such as toiletries, beverages, and other guest essentials to enhance their stay. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for optimal results. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties to maintain a hygienic environment. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial practices. Familiarity with hotel operations and standards of hospitality service. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
