Pay:

starts at $14 per hour with raise once training is complete (raises based on past experience, work performance and attendance. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established protocols to ensure hygiene and safety. Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and dispose of trash efficiently to maintain room readiness. Perform detailed floor care including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and spot cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively for deep cleaning tasks when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to promote a welcoming environment. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to custodial work and hotel operations. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness in hospitality settings. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices or housekeeping management is a plus. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate with colleagues and support guest satisfaction.
