Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing and maintaining guest satisfaction and assisting in overseeing all hotel operations on a daily basis. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. Will assist in overseeing both housekeeping and the front desk.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned. Inspect all guest rooms to ensure that they have been properly cleaned using the point system put in place Assist with cleaning rooms when necessary Opening and closing housekeeping for the day. This includes creating housekeeping boards in WebRezPro and distributing rooms for the day Perform room PM's (preventative maintenance) to create a punch list of any repairs that may need to be passed on to Facilities Assisting with laundry on linen delivery/pick up days Keep cart/storage rooms stocked with linen and housekeeping supplies Reviewing all reservations to ensure rates are correct and that all required information has been collected from guests Handle and review all payments posted in the system to ensure that guests are being charged accordingly Keep proper guest/hotel records Perform property walks to inspect hallways and public areas for any damage that may need to be corrected Work displaced shifts or cover for call outs/PTO days Ensure that all team members are following policies Follow all safety and security measures that are in place Comply with all reasonable requests made by management
Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends Must be proficient with computers. All hotel systems are web based and require computer based knowledge. Must have great customer service skills - all of our positions come into contact with guests!
