HOTEL MAINTENANCE PERSON

Overview Join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Person and help keep our hotel clean, safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our guests and staff. This hands-on role is responsible for completing routine preventive maintenance, responding to everyday maintenance requests, and helping maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling light repairs, painting, plumbing issues, pool maintenance, and general upkeep throughout the hotel. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout the hotel and guest rooms. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Handle basic plumbing repairs such as clogged drains, leaking faucets, running toilets, and minor pipe issues. Maintain the hotel swimming pool and spa area, including routine cleaning, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring the area is safe and guest-ready. Complete light painting, touch-ups, and drywall repairs as needed. Replace light bulbs, outlets, batteries, air filters, and other basic fixtures. Assist with maintaining HVAC units and reporting larger repair needs when necessary. Inspect guest rooms, hallways, common areas, pool area, and exterior grounds to ensure everything is in good working condition. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and supplies. Assist with room upkeep to ensure rooms are guest-ready and hotel standards are maintained. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while completing maintenance tasks. Work closely with hotel management and housekeeping to address maintenance concerns quickly and efficiently. Qualifications & Experience Previous hotel maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman, or general maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, pool maintenance, and general repair work. Ability to use hand tools and complete routine maintenance tasks independently. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize daily work assignments. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be dependable, professional, and able to respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner. Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods as needed. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.

Pay:

$20.00 - $29.00 per hour
