Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your expertise keeps our property running smoothly and ensures an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the hotel, troubleshooting issues promptly, and performing preventative maintenance to uphold safety and comfort standards. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to a welcoming environment that guests love and staff rely on. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance talents in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Duties Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and structural components to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures to ensure optimal operation. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex systems accurately and efficiently. Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain the property's aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Respond promptly to guest or staff repair requests, providing excellent customer service while resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits is essential. Hands-on welding skills and experience in residential painting are highly desirable. Supervising experience in maintenance teams or projects demonstrates leadership capabilities. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and use of ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret mechanical or electrical diagrams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide clear instructions or updates.
