Hotel Night Auditor

Night Auditor (Front Desk - Overnight) Fontana Village Resort - Fontana Dam, NC Full-Time | Overnight Shift Position Overview Fontana Village Resort is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide exceptional guest service during late-night hours. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of daily financial records while delivering a safe, welcoming, and professional guest experience overnight. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Guest Service Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours Check guests in and out efficiently and professionally Respond to guest needs, requests, and concerns in a timely manner Maintain a calm, welcoming, and service-focused presence Night Audit & Financial Responsibilities Complete nightly audit of all hotel transactions (rooms, POS outlets, etc.) Balance and reconcile daily revenue, cash, and credit transactions Prepare and distribute daily financial reports Ensure accuracy of guest folios and billing Operations & Safety Monitor property activity and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Handle late-night issues, emergencies, or guest concerns with sound judgment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area Communicate key updates to the morning leadership team Qualifications Previous hotel front desk, Night Audit, or hospitality experience preferred Strong attention to detail and basic accounting skills Comfortable working independently overnight Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic computer proficiency (experience with PMS systems a plus) Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment Schedule Overnight shift (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Weekends and holidays required Compensation & Benefits $16.00 - $19.00 per hour , based on experience Weekly pay Paid Time Off (PTO) in accordance with company policy Eligibility for health benefits after 90 days (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) eligibility (subject to plan terms) Employee discounts and resort perks Why Join Fontana Village Resort?
