Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods efficiently along designated routes Load and unload cargo using flatbed, tarp and chain and binders to secure loads. Manage route driving schedules, adhering to delivery deadlines and traffic regulations while maintaining safety standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues or safety concerns before each shift Assist with maintaining accurate delivery logs. Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when loading or unloading cargo to prevent injuries and ensure efficiency Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver certifications preferred Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and warehouse operations Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling equipment.
