Hourly Maintenance Technician

HOURLY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IMMEDIATE OPENING!

!! Maintain machines and equipment in an Industrial Manufacturing Plant to perform at optimum level. Pay rate will be based on experience and knowledge. Disassemble and clean machines, machine parts, and perform routine maintenance on equipment to minimize breakdown. Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical systems. Experience in 3 phase electrical skills. Facilitate production by all means available.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Mechanical skills to troubleshoot & repair equipment using hand tools, power tools, fasteners, drills & taps 2. Utilize electrical skills as needed (AC/DC basics, NEC wiring rules, troubleshooting AC/DC wiring circuits, industrial wiring components, control panel layout & wiring and solid-state circuits & wiring) 3. Apply plumbing & pipefitting skills as needed (i.e. piping layout, cutting & threading pipe, air piping, water piping & hydraulic piping) 4. As needed, use welding and brazing skills (welding rods & heats; AC/DC arc welding, use of oxygen/acetylene torch & silver solder) 5. Must have knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag- Out Must possess basic reading, math skills and general mechanical ability in a manufacturing plant. Minimum 1 year maintenance experience. Full time position with a pay grade to meet experience. Wage Scale Increases during first year with increases based on progress and skill set. Work schedule will be discussed during interview. Benefits available after 90 days including health, dental, vision and 401K and 2 week's vacation pay after 1 year AND 3 weeks after 5 years.
