Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a polished appearance Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with environmental services standards Use janitorial equipment efficiently and safely while adhering to proper procedures for custodial tasks Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold hygiene standards Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience, preferably within healthcare or commercial settings Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for environmental services Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and infection control protocols in hospital or healthcare environments Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet extraction Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Join us in creating spotless spaces that promote health, safety, and comfort!
