Housekeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION

Find your purpose by joining CentraCare in Benson as a Housekeeper, working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. Summary Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms in all parts of the facility. Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids. Schedule Full time, 60 hours per two weeks. Evening shift from 4:00PM to 10:30PM, various schedule, Monday through Friday Every 4 th weekend/holiday rotation working 6:00AM to 2:30PM Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $16.55 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.

Full Pay range:

$16.55 - $23.97 per hour Full-time benefits : Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required. Other types of cleaning such as private house or business cleaning helpful. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required. Maintain confidentiality when dealing with all internal and external customers. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift. Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
