Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and inviting. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services. Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Participate in training programs to enhance skills in housekeeping management and industrial cleaning techniques. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members. A background in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not required. Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
