Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is crucial in upholding the standards of our establishment and providing exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Change linens and replenish supplies as necessary to ensure guest comfort. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens are cleaned and stored properly. Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guests. Skills Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Experience in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Custodial experience that demonstrates an understanding of proper cleaning methods and equipment usage. Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions.
