Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our residential or commercial spaces are spotless, inviting, and well-maintained. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to maintain cleanliness standards. Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote a healthy environment; handle waste disposal properly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs politely and professionally while maintaining discretion and respect for privacy. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Assist with janitorial tasks such as restroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, and general custodial duties to uphold hygiene standards across all areas. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy items, and climbing ladders when necessary. Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and laundry machines is preferred. Experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus. Prior hotel experience or commercial cleaning background will be considered an advantage.
