Housekeeper

Better Than Services is looking for new housekeepers to train and become a part of the team. To be a Housekeeper for Better Than Services is to be an expert in house cleaning and guest services. You will become proficient in all types of cleaning services, including but not limited to: High dusting, surface cleaning, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning and staging, vacuuming and vacuum maintenance, linen servicing, bed making, and household furniture maintenance. Employment with Better Than Services will train you for real world experiences in regards to the upkeep of your own dwelling. If you become a Housekeeper for Better Than Services, you can expect to work closely with one or two other individuals. Taking direction from the Crew Lead and focusing on the task designated to you. Each servicing of a unit consists of 4 cleaning tasks: Strip & prep, Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Dusting & floors. Housekeepers will fully complete one cleaning task before moving on to another, the order of which is decided by the Crew Lead at each unit.

Physical requirements include:

Standing and walking 7 hours a day, walking up and down stairs 10% of the day, kneeling and squatting regularly, able to carry 25 lbs up and down stairs, and significant elbow grease. Work day consists of 6-8 hours of work. Work days vary, depending on need. You will know your work schedule 2 weeks in advance. Compensation is $18.50/hour, plus $50/month phone stipend and a discover pass for your vehicle. Both your phone and vehicle will be needed for this position.
