Housekeeper, Maintenance and Laundry Attendant

The housekeeper, maintenance and laundry attendant are key members of our team. He or she is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility, and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and other employees have a positive impression of our physical environment. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning, as well as the weekly cleaning in the resident's rooms. Housekeeper and Laundry attendants work closely with the ESD supervisor to assure that all daily and weekly assigned cleaning tasks are completed. The purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping and laundry procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Qualifications Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident's best interest Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly adult Ability to read, write, and speak basic English Must be physically healthy and free from any communicable illness. Know how to approach and communicate with all residents including those who are cognitively impaired.
