Job Type Full-Time or Part-Time Job Summary We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Housekeeping Aide. The Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of general housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the facility in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and dress code Complete assigned daily cleaning schedules Maintain a warm, calm, and positive environment throughout the facility Participate in required in-service education programs Maintain housekeeping carts with adequate supplies to complete assigned duties Properly label all chemicals according to SDS requirements and replace worn labels Use approved cleaning supplies at correct dilution ratios Keep restricted areas locked at all times Inspect windows, furniture, fixtures, and equipment for proper operation and report maintenance needs Follow all safety rules and procedures Practice proper infection control and universal precautions Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags as needed Report accidents and incidents promptly to the supervisor Attend staff meetings as directed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to make independent decisions when necessary Ability to work tactfully with residents, families, visitors, staff, and the public Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others Patient, cheerful, and professional demeanor Physical Requirements Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the position Ability to work independently with flexibility and integrity Ability to work with ill, disabled, and emotionally upset individuals Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds Benefits Competitive wages 401k matching program Paid time off (PTO) Holiday pay Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time employees If you have a desire to make a difference in people's lives and want to join a supportive healthcare team, apply today!
