Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests in a hotel setting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms. Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures. Manage the dry cleaning process for guests' garments as needed. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Assist with the organization of laundry facilities to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel environment. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals. Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively, including washers and dryers. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
