Hotel Room Attendant Job Our beautiful 84-room hotel is hiring for our busy season. We seek hard-working, reliable individuals to join our accomplished housekeeping team! The goal in the Room Attendant position is to ensure each and every room in our hotel is thoroughly cleaned and cared for. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn from our cleaning professionals who will walk beside you and guide you in proper training and customer service. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail in cleaning our guest rooms and suites. This would involve bedroom and bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. We focus on providing superior hospitality to our guests, and your services are a significant part of this amenity! Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hard-working, reliable people who enjoy being part of a team. Job Duties:

• Maintains the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.
• Sets up cleaning cart with supplies. Maintains carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, all public areas, and hallways.
• Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets and stall walls. Wipes exposed pipes, cleans mirrors, sinks and walls in order to have clean and sanitary guest restroom.
• Replaces towels, soaps, and all room amenities and restocks literature that has been removed by previous guest, or is soiled or torn, to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.
• Washes all hard floor areas (Linoleum, tile, etc.) to remove dirt and soiled areas.
• Strips bed of all linens and remakes with fresh linens.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas, and hallways.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor toward our guests and fellow employees at all times.
• washing and folding of laundry. Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head, bending, lifting and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.

Pay range : $17.33 per hour to start/depending upon experience level.
