The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction through efficient cleaning practices. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assigns housekeepers their duties and inspects work for compliance to prescribed standards of cleanliness. Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and takes corrective action. Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments. Coordinates work activities among departments. Assists in conducting orientation training, in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use, as well as maintenance of equipment. Works with Executive Housekeeper to maintain par stock of cleaning supplies by assisting with inventories to ensure adequate supplies. Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage. Examines guest rooms and the resort as a whole to determine the need for repairs/replacement of furniture or equipment, as well as makes recommendations to management. Attends staff meetings to discuss company policies and guest's complaints. Issues supplies and equipment to workers. Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff. Advises manager, desk clerk, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy.Experience and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 3 years guest room housekeeping experience, preferred in luxury hospitality Supervisory experience preferred Basic computer skills required (e.g. Word, Excel) This position requires a reliable individual committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.Job Type:
