Job Description

Job Summary- Responsible for cleaning, servicing, and setting up guest rooms, meeting spaces, restrooms, buildings, and staff offices with excellence, while also providing leadership and support to the housekeeping team. This role helps ensure operations run smoothly and that all spaces meet Forest Home's standards with the highest internal and external service in mind.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Facility Readiness Leads daily cleaning operations for cabins, meeting spaces, and common areas Coordinate room turnovers, mid-week refreshes, and seasonal transitions Ensure all spaces meet Forest Home cleanliness and guest-ready standards Monitor inventory levels of linens, supplies, and cleaning materials Cleaning & Maintenance Support Perform and support routine cleaning, including floors, restrooms, and high-touch areas Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment, vacuums, and supplies Identify and report maintenance or repair needs in a timely manner Assist with set up as needed to support facility readiness Leadership & Team Coordination Lead and support housekeeping staff in daily operations Assign, prioritize, and monitor cleaning tasks to ensure timely completion Provide training, guidance, and quality checks on completed work Support high-demand turnover days and urgent operational needs Communication, Safety & Support Report cleaning progress, concerns, and facility needs through proper channels Communicate clearly with supervisors and other departments regarding room status and priorities Ensure safe work practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Maintain organized workspaces, storage areas, and supply rooms Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff Support staff spiritual life activities and perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent 1-2+ year experience in housekeeping preferred. Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
