Housekeeping Supervisor

Hillside Medical Lodge is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our environmental services team. This role is responsible for maintaining high sanitary standards and managing the daily shift flow of the housekeeping department. You will ensure rooms are prepared for new admissions and that all common areas meet facility cleanliness protocols. We are currently holding walk-in interviews Monday through Friday, from 11am-3pm. If you are in the area, please stop by to speak with our leadership team. Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate daily room cleaning assignments. Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, dining areas, and hallways. Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and linens. Train new staff members on proper chemical handling and sanitation techniques. Ensure all biohazardous waste is handled and disposed of according to protocol. Communicate with other department heads to coordinate deep-cleaning schedules for discharged rooms.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay:

$16-17/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Occasional weekends as needed for facility oversight)

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services for Long Term Care or similar facility is required. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Background Check:

Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).

Drug Test:

Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Transportation:

Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance. Atmosphere & Environment Hillside Medical Lodge is a 128-bed facility located in Gatesville. Our team focuses on efficient facility management and consistent cleanliness to support resident health and comfort. As the supervisor, you will manage supply inventory and oversee the execution of daily cleaning schedules to ensure the building remains compliant with state and local health regulations.
