Housekeeping Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations Schedule assignments and ensure adequate departmental coverage Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, infection control, and safety practices Monitor inventory levels and order housekeeping supplies as needed Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, state, and facility infection prevention guidelines Address resident, family, and staff concerns related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support departmental operations Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall resident satisfaction and facility cleanliness Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous housekeeping experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of infection control and cleaning standards in healthcare settings Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical duties throughout the shift Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) or retirement plan options Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Full-time Weekends and holidays as needed Flexible Scheduling based on facility needs Note The statements contained herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, or skills required of personnel.
