Job Description
Welcome Guests to Telluride's Living Room The Hotel Telluride. It is where guests become locals. It's where locals gather to hear live music. It's where guests become friends. The Hotel Telluride is a boutique chalet with a European feel, situated in authentic Downtown Telluride, surrounded by the San Juan Mountains. SUMMARY:
The Horseperson is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility at all times.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mops and vacuums all floors daily and cleans mops after each use Changes all bed linens, bedspreads, and blankets as needed Cleans and disinfects sink, toilet, and tub-shower Restocks soap and toilet paper, and provides clean towels as needed Washes windows and window coverings in all rooms as needed Dusts all countertops, bedroom dresser tops, and furniture as needed Dusts paintings, wall fixtures, and door jambs in rooms and hallways weekly Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures Reports any broken items to management, such as beds, chairs, and fixtures Replaces light bulbs as needed Ensures all unnecessary lights are turned off as required Performs other related duties as assigned Performs other related duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to read labels and instructions on products and interpret written information Must have good time management and organizational skills Must be able to work in a team environment and take directionEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCOMPETENCIES
Quality- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality. Quantity

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Continually stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift Continually required to balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment Continually required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 lbs. May be required to push or pull a maximum weight of 150 lbs. Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or cleaning chemicals Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials Occasional exposure to loud noiseSALARY:
