PURPOSE:
The Housing Front Desk Manager i s responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of the tenant support team at Harris Tooele CRC , while also managing daily operations at Vine Street Housing . This role ensures safe, smooth, and resident-focused operations by modeling Switchpoint's values and collaborating with both internal teams and community partners such as EMG and the Tooele Housing Authority . This role is a key part of the leadership team, maintaining a supportive and accountable environment for residents and staff, while ensuring program success and compliance with Switchpoint standards.
Requirements:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility & Staff Management Hire, train, and supervise tenant support staff. Conduct regular check-ins, coaching sessions, and performance reviews. Ensure shift coverage through proactive scheduling and minimal overtime. Provide coverage during staffing shortages as needed. Promote and uphold all organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards. Hold staff accountable to performance, professionalism, and values. Resident Engagement & Support Respond to resident concerns, mediate conflicts, and de-escalate situations. Hold residents accountable to lease agreements; issue warnings or reports as necessary. Coordinate with case management to support individual resident progress. Partner with EMG, Tooele Housing Authority, and other organizations to meet housing and support needs. Organize resident engagement activities to promote community and stability. Operations & Administration Assist with room turnovers and fill housing vacancies efficiently. Monitor inventory and order supplies for both Harris and Vine Street. Report facility maintenance issues in a timely manner. Assist Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager in daily operations and planning. Ensure compliance and preparedness for internal and external audits. Support budget awareness and cost-saving practices. Immediately report any critical incidents to the appropriate leadership. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with case managers, site leaders, and third-party partners. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven team environment. Support and uphold Switchpoint's core values in daily interactions and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience 2+ years of experience in hospitality or human services (low-income or vulnerable populations preferred). 1+ year of management or supervisory experience. Skills & Abilities Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service and communication. Conflict resolution and problem-solving proficiency. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn new systems quickly. Additional Requirements Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
