Summary We are seeking a grounded, organized, and mission-driven leader to join our team as a Housing Manager. In this role, you will be the backbone of our sober living environment, ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly so our residents can focus on what matters most: their recovery. You'll work closely with the Operations Director to manage staff, oversee facility standards, and maintain a culture of accountability and support. Shift Availability Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30
PM Key Responsibilities Staff Development:
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development of the Resident Mentor (RM) team.Operational Oversight:
Direct weekly staff meetings and manage complex shift logistics to ensure 24/7 facility coverage and uncompromising accountability.Mentorship:
Foster a high-performance culture by providing regular feedback and performance evaluations for frontline staff.Advanced De-escalation:
Serve as the primary authority for high-tension incidents, utilizing Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Trauma-Informed Care to resolve conflicts and minimize administrative discharges.Conflict Mediation:
Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics between residents to uphold community standards and a therapeutic atmosphere.Resident Advocacy:
Facilitate community house meetings and provide peer-level crisis intervention to maintain house morale.Program Fidelity:
Rigorously enforce house rules, safety protocols, and the integrity of random toxicology screenings (UDS/breathalyzer).Logistics & Procurement:
Manage daily facility operations, including supply chain procurement, vendor relations, and routine safety inspections.Asset Management:
Oversee facility maintenance schedules to ensure a safe, dignified, and high-quality living environment for all residents.QA Auditing:
Conduct systematic audits of staff documentation—including shift logs, incident reports, and toxicology records—to ensure 100% compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.Regulatory Documentation:
Maintain meticulous records of resident progress and medication oversight in strict accordance with HIPAA and organizational mandates.Administrative Strategy:
Support the Operations Director in budget tracking, data reporting, and the iterative development of operational protocols.Requirements Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role specifically within a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment or residential setting.Leadership:
Proven ability to manage a team and hold others accountable with compassion.Clinical Literacy:
High comfort level with recovery terminology (Stages of Change, CBT/DBT basics, 12-Step/Smart Recovery) and the ability to teach these concepts to junior staff.Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software or high-level spreadsheet management for tracking resident data.Certification:
