Job Description

As an
HR GENERALIST
at Williams, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources team an d play a crucial role in the daily human resources functions. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting skilled trades or construction-related businesses is strongly preferred.

Our team is over 350-strong, bringing together the region's best plumbers, technicians, engineers, and project leaders. Located in beautiful Belgrade, Montana, outdoor adventures surround us!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork Assist with recruitment Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws Administer benefits and leave requests Assist managers with employee relations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance management Help develop and maintain company policies, employee handbook updates, and HR procedures Assist with tracking licenses, certifications, and training requirements for field staff Handle unemployment claims, HR reporting, and audits as needed Foster a professional, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture
WHAT YOU BRING
3+ years of HR Generalist experience required HR experience in construction preferred Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
