HRIS Specialist

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is well known for its flagship product, YellaWood® brand pressure treated pine which it sells through Do-It-Yourself retail home centers, pro dealers and other retail building-related and industrial segments. Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking an HRIS Specialist that is responsible for the implementation and development of the HRIS program for teammates company-wide. This is a full-time position located on-site in Abbeville, Alabama, just 30 minutes North of Dothan, Alabama. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

Manage the development, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of the HRIS and its modules, interfaces, and day-to-day support activities. Provide system users with training and assistance and troubleshoot system issues. Own the HRIS and its modules and lead design and implementation activities. Continuously evaluate organizational needs relative to the HRIS. Ensure integrity and validity of all data entered into the HRIS. Develop, write, execute, and deliver reports as required or requested. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and understanding of trends in technology and standards of practice relevant to the management of the HRIS. Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field of study, and three to five (3-5) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
