This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure compliance with federal regulations, facilitate property management operations, and support residents in accessing quality affordable housing. Your expertise will help create vibrant communities by coordinating multifaceted administrative functions with precision, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. Duties Manage and administer HUD-funded multifamily housing programs, ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, and Fair Housing laws. Oversee leasing processes, including property marketing, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract management using property management software such as Yardi and OneSite. Maintain accurate data entry and filing of all program documentation, including tenant files, legal documents, contracts, and compliance reports. Coordinate with legal teams on landlord-tenant law issues and resolve conflicts effectively through conflict management strategies. Conduct regular property inspections related to property maintenance and facilities management; ensure properties meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Facilitate communication with tenants, landlords, contractors, and government agencies via phone etiquette and customer service excellence. Prepare detailed reports on program performance, occupancy rates, rent collections, and compliance status; utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for facilities tracking. Support leasing activities through upselling available units while maintaining adherence to Fair Housing regulations; foster positive customer relationships to enhance tenant satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in real estate administrative roles with a focus on property management or multifamily housing programs. Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 voucher systems, landlord-tenant law, and Fair Housing regulations. Hands-on experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; familiarity with CMMS preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle legal administrative tasks related to contracts and lease agreements efficiently. Excellent conflict management skills combined with negotiation abilities to resolve tenant issues amicably while protecting organizational interests. Prior customer service experience in a property leasing or office environment; ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions essential for seamless operations.
