Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic Healthcare team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive impactful HR operations across the organization. In this vital role, you will support talent acquisition, employee onboarding & training, benefits administration, and recruitment processes to foster a positive and compliant workplace environment. Your proactive approach will help streamline HR processes, enhance employee relations, and contribute to strategic workforce planning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful difference in our company culture. Duties Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), conducting job interviews, attending career fairs, and creating unique and creative methods of recruitment. Coordinate employee orientation programs and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly. Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by gathering data, scheduling reviews, and maintaining accurate records within the Human Resources filing systems. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans using systems like E-Navigator and ADP. Maintain compliance with employment & labor law standards and OSHA regulations through proper documentation and record keeping. Manage data entry tasks related to HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy in employee records and workforce management data. Facilitate communication between employees and management on HR policies, conflict resolution, and organizational changes to promote a positive work environment. Maintain accurate and professional documentation in all scenarios, from team coaching, one-on-one check-ins, disciplinary actions, and investigations. Serves as a member on multiple committee meetings and delivers relevant and valuable information to the committee teams as appropriate for quality measures. Experience Previous administrative experience with a focus on human resources functions is preferred. Familiarity with human capital management filing systems, domains, and electronic folders enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in project management, change management initiatives, and strategic planning supports effective HR operations. Strong communication skills coupled with experience in social media management or internal communications tools help foster engagement across teams. Experience conducting interviews, data collection for employee surveys or evaluations, and supporting talent management initiatives will be advantageous. $19.25 - $26.00 per hour
