More than 30 Starting Salary Range $20.00 - $23.00 DESCRIPTION The Churches of St. Mary & St. Michael and St. Croix Catholic School are seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant to work 10-16 hours per week. The primary role of this position is to assist the Human Resources Manager in all facets of the Human Resources department for the Churches of St. Michael & St. Mary and St. Croix Catholic School. The person in this role will need to be highly organized and have a willingness to assist and provide support in a fast paced team environment working closely with the Human Resources Manager. A person who enjoys performing with a high degree of accuracy, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys maintaining organization will be successful in this role. Candidates with experience in the Human Resource fields are strongly urged to apply This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources while working a flexible part-time schedule
General Responsibilities:
The HR Assistant supports HR functions by maintaining accurate records, ensuring HR processes are carried out accurately and efficiently, and assisting with recruitment efforts This role supports HR systems updates and compliance Help maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation with weekly filing Provide administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and new hire paperwork Assist with employee file management and training/compliance documentation Makes photocopies, scans, and performs other clerical functions Help with general HR tasks and projects as needed Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/career in Human Resources or related field or currently pursuing a degree/career in Human Resources or related field or comparable experience preferred Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to assist others Ability to maintain professional standards of confidentiality at all times. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Publisher, Excel, Access, Google Suite, and Outlook Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as a team player
