Full-time Description:
Clark Logic is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as an HR Generalist. The ideal candidate would support our company mission to deliver the best real estate and transportation solutions by assisting employees and leadership with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and career development. They would also embody our core values of safety, honesty, integrity, and reliability by advancing our employment-related initiatives. This is an in-person role that will be on-site at a variety of our locations around the Kalamazoo, Portage, and Southwest Michigan region. In this role, the HR Generalist will: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and labor regulations. Assist talent acquisition efforts including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Administer and support the payroll process. Serve as a point of contact for employment matters and provide guidance on HR-related issues including leave administration, compensation, attendance, and workplace concerns. Assist leadership with employee training, development, and performance management initiatives. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in both electronic and paper formats. Support policy development, implementation, and communication across the organization. Assist with disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans as needed. Collaborate with management to support workforce planning and organizational goals. Complete other duties as assigned. A few core competencies that will be helpful in this role are: A strong attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality Clear and professional communication What are the qualifications and education we'd like to see? A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources or Business Administration and at least 5 years in progressive Human Resources roles, or the equivalent years of education and experience. SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification highly preferred. Payroll and logistics industry experience is also a plus!
Pay:
$62,554.42 - $75,334.35 per year
