Job Description

Job Summary Renhill is partnering with a manufacturing company in Napoleon, OH. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, fostering a positive work environment through effective human resources management. You will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance with employment and labor laws, and workforce management. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will help shape our organizational culture, support employee development, and ensure smooth HR operations across all departments. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) utilization, interviewing, and onboarding to attract top talent. Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization. Administer employee evaluation processes, performance management systems, and training & development initiatives to promote continuous growth. Maintain compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), Workers' Compensation policies, and affirmative action planning. Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies, fostering a positive workplace environment. Support benefits administration activities using HRIS (Human Resource Information System) platforms like Workday, Paychex, or UltiPro to manage payroll, benefits enrollment, and data collection. Lead change management efforts related to organization design, workforce management strategies, and HR projects to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure accurate data entry for HR records while leveraging tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or PeopleSoft for strategic planning and HR analytics. Experience Proven experience in human resources management or generalist roles with a strong understanding of human capital management practices. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting techniques using ATS platforms such as iCIMS or Taleo. Familiarity with employment law regulations including
FMLA, OSHA
standards, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning. Experience with benefits administration systems like Paychex or ADP along with payroll processing using Kronos or Paylocity. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage employee relations and facilitate training & development sessions. Knowledge of organizational design principles and succession planning strategies to support long-term talent management goals.
