Human Resources Generalist

Axios Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support one of our clients in Lowell, Michigan on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition. The position is expected to work approximately 30 hours per week and will remain contracted through Axios Professional Recruitment. Responsibilities Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and support hiring decisions Manage the onboarding process for new employees Address employee concerns and grievances Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture Establish performance goals and expectations for employees Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback Support employee development planning Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and payroll coordination Conduct salary surveys and help ensure competitive compensation practices Identify training needs and assist with developing training programs Deliver or coordinate employee training sessions Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations (EEO, safety standards, etc.) Maintain accurate employee records and documentation Partner with leadership to support workforce strategies aligned with business goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Leadership and team collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency with HR systems and technology Axios Professional Recruitment is an entirely employee-owned company and the largest independent staffing firm in West Michigan. Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
