We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leaders across a wide range of HR functions. Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations, including employee leave management, compliance, employee relations, HRIS administration, and reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do Provide guidance to leaders regarding onboarding, policy interpretation, and employee changes Manage HRIS updates, employee records, terminations, and personnel changes Oversee employee leave administration, including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, disability, military leave, and unpaid leave Partner with managers on employee relations matters, corrective action, and performance management Review and manage unemployment compensation claims and hearing preparation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements Multi-state HR experience strongly preferred Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Prior experience in human services, social services, nonprofit, or community-based organizations preferred Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Wellness Program 401(k) with company match Company-paid life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Tuition reimbursement Paid time off and company-paid holidays Employee referral bonus Clearance reimbursement and renewal Join a mission-driven organization where your work directly supports employees serving youth and families in our communities.
