Human Resources Manager
Peju Winery Rutherford, CA Job Description:
At PEJU, we strive to be the highlight of every guest's visit to Napa Valley, and our HR Manager plays a key role in supporting the people and culture that make that experience possible. The Human Resources Manager leads and executes HR programs that support the company's people strategy and business goals. This role partners closely with leadership while also staying hands-on across key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, performance management, and compliance. What You'll Do- Support a positive, values-driven culture and employee experience
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, and development
- Administer compensation, benefits, and recognition programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Directly manage HR operations, systems, and payroll coordination
- Drive employee engagement through communication, events, and programs What You Bring
- 8+ years of HR experience across multiple disciplines
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (CA preferred)
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity a plus)
- Strong communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
