Human Resources Manager (People Champion Extraordinaire!) Are you passionate about people, purpose, and making a real difference every single day? We're looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team and help support a mission that truly matters. Our organization serves incredible individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities—and we need someone who can build strong teams, support leaders, and keep our workplace thriving, compliant, and full of heart. What You'll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers) HR Leadership & Support Be the go-to expert for managers on employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution Lead investigations with fairness, professionalism, and confidence Keep policies consistent, clear, and followed Recruiting & Retention Guru Find, hire, and onboard amazing team members Build creative strategies to keep employees engaged and reduce turnover Help maintain staffing for a 24/7 care environment (you keep things running!) Payroll & HR Operations Ensure payroll runs smoothly and accurately (because everyone loves payday!) Maintain employee records, HR systems, and compliance documentation Manage benefits, workers' comp, unemployment claims, and more Training & Development Champion Create and oversee impactful training programs Support leadership growth and career development Keep certifications and compliance training on track Compliance Pro Stay ahead of employment laws and regulations (SC law, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, etc.) Help us stay audit-ready and licensing-compliant (CARF & DSS knowledge = bonus points!) What You Bring to the Table HR experience in group homes, residential care, healthcare, or similar environments Knowledge of working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred) Strong understanding of HR laws and compliance Experience with payroll and HRIS systems A balance of compassion, professionalism, and problem-solving skills HR certification (SHRM or PHR) is a plus The Basics Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years HR management experience (5+ preferred) Why You'll Love Working with Us You'll make a real impact in people's lives—every day Be part of a mission-driven, supportive team Opportunity to grow and lead within the organization Competitive pay and benefits Ready to Make a Difference?
