We are headquartered in Casselberry, FL and on a clear path to 50+ locations. Donde el café tiene alma. We're hiring an HR Manager who will lead the entire HR function day-to-day: managing our Recruiter, owning compliance across two states, and being the trusted point person every employee knows by name. What you'll own — 8 core areas 1. Lead the Recruiter Direct supervision of our in-house Recruiter. Weekly 1:1s, scorecard reviews against the 10 recruiting KPIs (Time-to-Hire ≤10 days, 90-day retention ≥80%, offer acceptance ≥85%, file completion by Day 5 = 100%, etc.), coaching on performance, and quarterly reviews. 2. Recruiting Strategy Own the full recruiting strategy across all 16
LLCs:
Indeed (free + sponsored), LinkedIn (for $50K+ roles in coordination with the CMO), AgIA AI screening, the referral program ($100-$500), and the 5-stage hiring framework (Screening / RH / Operations / Trial Shift / CEO interview) with the 60/40 technical-cultural scorecard. 3. Onboarding Run the Day −10 to Day 5 onboarding program end-to-end: pre-boarding logistics, Buddy System assignment, Day 1 documentation (40-document hiring package), and Day 5 file closure with the Manager. 4. Employee Files & Records Custody of the 7-section physical employee file (color-coded A-G), digital records in ADP TotalSource, and 7-year retention compliance per FLSA, Title VII, and EEOC standards. Weekly audits to keep every file inspection-ready. 5. Multi-State Legal Compliance Maintain compliance across Florida (FLSA, Fla. Stat. § 448.095 / E-Verify, FL New Hire Reporting, Workers' Comp, FCHR) and Illinois (PLAWA, Chicago Paid Leave Ordinance, ODRISA, IHRA, VESSA, Workplace Transparency Act, BIPA, HB 3773 AI disclosure). Quarterly compliance reviews and ad-hoc updates as legislation evolves. 6. Disciplinary Processes Lead progressive discipline under Memorando

Coach managers, document every step, and execute terminations under the dual CEO + Director of Operations signature protocol. 7. Employee Relations & Attention Be the single trusted point of contact for every employee question, complaint, or concern. Conduct workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, retaliation) with discretion and documentation. Mediate manager-employee conflicts. Respond within 24 business hours. 8. Wellbeing & Culture Run quarterly Stay Interviews, administer benefits enrollment and life-event changes through ADP TotalSource (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)), and design programs that reinforce CFS culture and reduce turnover (industry: 75-100%, our target:
