Job Description

Cornerstone Care Center in Sanger, CA is looking to fill the position of Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator in our skilled nursing community where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. Details:
Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm HR Experience in the healthcare setting highly desired Duties Process payroll using payroll management software Paycom, ensuring all employee payments are accurate and timely. Reconcile payroll data with accounting systems Manage benefits administration related to payroll, including deductions for health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Perform account reconciliation and journal entries to ensure proper financial reporting within the general ledger. Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, tax filings, and compliance documentation in accordance with governmental regulations. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes related to payroll expenses and reimbursements. Support HRIS systems integration and updates to streamline data entry and improve overall payroll accuracy. Skills Proficiency with payroll software is essential for managing complex payroll processes efficiently. Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Experience with financial software like QuickBooks or similar platforms for accurate data management. Knowledge of benefits administration procedures and non-profit or governmental accounting practices is a plus. Excellent analysis skills for reviewing payroll reports and identifying discrepancies or errors promptly. Ability to perform precise data entry tasks such as 10 key typing with high accuracy while handling sensitive information securely. Familiarity with tax regulations related to payroll processing and experience in account reconciliation ensures compliance and accuracy in reporting.
