Job Description
Vineyard Care Center in Reedley, CA is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team in our skilled nursing community! In this role, you will manage payroll processing, ensure accurate employee compensation, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will help streamline our payroll operations, support HR functions, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization. Details:
Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm HR Experience in a healthcare setting highly desirable Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently using Paycom, ensuring timely delivery of employee wages and benefits. Maintain and update employee records within HRIS platforms, including data entry and verification for payroll and benefits administration. Reconcile payroll accounts through detailed analysis of general ledger accounts, accounts payable, receivable, and other financial data using accounting software Prepare journal entries related to payroll expenses, tax deductions, and benefits contributions while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with benefits administration by managing enrollments, changes, and terminations; support open enrollment periods; handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll and benefits. Collaborate with the accounting team on month-end closing activities involving payroll-related transactions and account reconciliation. Support governmental reporting requirements by preparing tax filings, wage reports, and other regulatory documentation related to payroll. Requirements Proven experience with payroll management systems s Strong knowledge of payroll processes including tax compliance, deductions, garnishments, and benefits administration. Proficiency in accounting software Solid understanding of financial concepts like debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred. Ability to analyze financial data effectively while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting practices is a plus.
