This vital role combines technical expertise with proactive maintenance to ensure the seamless operation of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, and safety equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for industrial maintenance, a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, and excellent customer service skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving hospitality environment by maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and comfort. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, electrical circuits, plumbing, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment across the hotel premises. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose issues and plan repairs efficiently. Conduct troubleshooting and repairs involving high voltage and low voltage electrical systems using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Execute welding tasks—including welding—using appropriate techniques to repair or fabricate metal components. Manage field service activities by coordinating with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or installations. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, safety documentation, and asset records to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest or staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Support manufacturing facility operations by applying industrial mechanic experience and technical sales knowledge when needed. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding preferred), and schematics interpretation. Electrical expertise including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools is essential. Certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is required; additional certifications in industrial electrician work or HVAC/R are highly desirable. Experience operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, scissor lifts, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial mechanics, and safety protocols related to industrial environments. Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Military background or experience in field service roles is considered an asset due to the discipline and technical skills gained through service training.
